Introduction :
A wrought alloy made of nickel, chromium, and molybdenum called HASTELLOY C276 is regarded as the most adaptable corrosion-resistant material on the market. This alloy is suited for the majority of chemical process applications in an as-welded condition because it resists the production of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone. Moreover, alloy C-276 exhibits exceptional resistance to stress-corrosion cracking, pitting, and oxidising environments up to 1900°F. Excellent resistance to a variety of chemical conditions can be found in alloy C-276.
